General Problems of Nature Management
THE RESOURCELOGY SCIENCE DEVELOPMENT
V.I. Avilov, Dr. Sc. (Engin.), the Academician,
S.D. Avilova, Dr. Sc. (Biology), the Academician, the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RAEN), the Institute of Oceanology, the Russian Academy of Sciences
As science about most common nature management questions the resourcelogy assumes more and more ecological nuance. Modern tendencies of proportions change at resource production and consumption correct resourcelogy aims and tasks. Introducing ecosystem analysis into own methodology the resourcelogy science must generate outstripping ideas of modern civilization harmonious development to operate our planet population actions.

GLOBAL COMPETITION FOR WOODS AND THE EARTH
V. V. Strakhov, Dr. Sc. (Agricul.), the deputy head, the International Forestry Division, the AllRussian Research Institute for Forestry and Mechanization (VNIILM), the Federal Forestry Agency,
The article reflected results of analysis of the mainstream questions of human population survival: degradation of forest area and decrease of land resources for food production. The statistics for global overview, produced by the organizations of United Nation system (FAO, etc.) are used. During analysis there has been examined relationships between recent trends of land use and cover changes, agriculture and forestry, hunger and human population growth. Inside of outputs of this article has shown the trend of competition for lands between agriculture, forestry and public demand on forest production. In particular has been shown trends of food allowance, follow up to economic growth operate the forest area reduction of the World.
Key words: human population growth, global role of forests, competition between agriculture and forestry for lands, livestock sector, biofuel production, Russian forest industry modernization, investments.

The main trends in vegetation due to climatic and anthropogenic (hydraulic action) changes are identified in river valleys of the southern taiga, deciduous forests and steppe. The results obtained on the basis of longterm field studies, analysis of longterm changes in meteorological characteristics (average, maximum and minimum temperatures and precipitation in different seasons and years) and identify the consequences display of a hydraulic impact in the landscapes.
Key words: air temperatures, sum of precipitation, climatic changes, floodplain ecosystems, vegetation dynamics.
